In modern operating systems Multitasking feature has dramatically improved user productivity.

Multitasking means doing multiple work at a same time. Because of Multitasking, we can use more than 1 program at one time. For ex: we can use chrome while hearing music.

It has became easy to use Operating systems nowadays. Because more RAM is adding to computers, As well as advanced operating systems are designed by companies.

Modern desktop operating systems are capable of handling large numbers of different processes at the same time. And it is because of operating system and processor cores.

CPU needs to do more work while doing Multiple tasks. because of which, our computer can be slow down. While doing multiple tasks, computer has RAM and processor has to work in background. all background processes are completed because of Operating system.

As you can see the screenshot. In that screenshot, you will find that, I have started so many programs and apps but also computer is working. And it is because of operating system.

I have shown less programs by opening. But Nowadays computers can handle more than 20 programs at a same time.
