In NCERT is is written that- almost 40% forest have been lost in the tropics compared to only 1% in the temperate region. Why tropical forests are destroyed faster and why there is so much of difference in the percentage loss?​

because the trees in the tropical zone are grown in hot climate so they are so strong and durable than others so they are good for industrial purpose
