Pasteurization is a process in which milk is heated to kill pathogenic form of bacteria
There are two types of pasteurization
High temp short time (HTST) in which milk is heated at 72 degree for 15 sec
And low temperature long time (LTLT)
in which milk is heated at 63 degree for time of 30 minutes

Pasteurization is used to preserve the milk . It was first introduced by French Scientist Louis Pasteur.
⇒In this process , Milk is heated up to 70 degrees Celsius for 15 to 30 seconds to kill bacteria.
⇒Next it is chilled and cooled very fast to prevent bacteria from growing further and stored at very low temperature which will last for considerable long period of time.
