This is because there is no gravitational pull in space.
On earth, there is gravity, so that we all stay on the ground and don’t float away, in space, there is no gravitational pull.
It is true every planet has a gravitational pull of some sort, on the moon, the gravitational pull is a lot less than on earth. In the middle of space, there is none.

Because in space there is no gravity. While out planet earth has gravity which helps us to be on ground
