In spherical capacitor a=10cm and b=12 cm, and inner one is grounded, and a medium of K=5 is filled in the space between two spheres, what is capacity of capacitor??

Inner radius = 10 cm

Inner radius = 12 cm

Medium K =5

We need to calculate the capacity of capacitor

Using formula capacitor

C=K4\pi\epsilon_{0}\times\dfrac{r_{1}r_{2}}{r_{2}-r_{1}}

Put the value into the formula

C=\dfrac{5\times10\times10^{-2}\times12\times10^{-2}}{9\times10^{9}\times(12\times10^{-2}-10\times10^{-2})}

C=3.33\times10^{-10}\ F

C=33.3\times10^{-9}\ F

Hence, The capacity of capacitor is 33.3\times10^{-9}\ F
