In spite of having a melodius voice and being a crowdpuller the nightingale turns out to be a loser and dies . How far is she responsible for her own downfall

in my opinion the nightingale is herself responsible for her own downfall. she should understand the true nature of frog. she should have examined that if he is really a good singer. Also, she should have confidence in herself , she blindly trusted the frog to be music critic. she followed all the instructions of frog and finally at end she died.
