- Due to heavy modernisation and the expansion of the colonial rule, the England got serious upgrade in it's own industrial sectors which gradually led to the industrial revolution, back in the 18th century.
- The raw materials and resources collected from the colonial empire, was a great factor behind this whole industrial revolution.
- India was also a part of this colonial empire, and was enriched with natural resources. That's why, India also became a victim of resource extraction.
