We have AE=AD and CE=BD.

Adding, we get AE+CE=AD+BD

⇒AC=AB.

In triangles AEB and ADC, we have

AE=AD ___(given);

AB=AC ___ (proved);

∠EAB=∠DAC, (common angle).

By SAS postulate △AEB≅△ADC.
