In the ‘battle of dragon’ the dragon stores the treasure in a cave.

EXPLANATION:

In the ancient classic ‘Beowulf’, there are many tales of battles. The last battle is between the hero Beowulf and the dragon. Long time ago a lone soldier, the last survivor of a regiment sought refuge in a cave to die in peace. With him was a load of treasure. Soon the soldier died but the treasure remained hidden in the cave.

In to the cave strolled a dragon. Finding the treasures he was overjoyed and decided to guard it. Coiling round the treasure the dragon went off for a long sleep. A thief chanced to enter the cave. Sighting the treasure he stole a cup to repay his debts. This awakened the dragon. When it found the cup missing it angrily came out and to seek revenge burnt down the entire village including Beowulf’s residence. Beowulf then asked the thief to show him the dragon’s lair and the battle with the dragon followed.
