In the board exams , while writing the letter can we writ subject before saluation or not.?? i hav seen two answer sheets of topper students, one has wriiten saluation first n then subject and the other has written subject first n then saluation. pls help me n make my doubt clear.

Well, according to me, I think subject will come before salutation.

I think you should write subject before salutation as I have seen in many grammar books and even many English teachers also teach the same format as advised.Also after salutation I think you should write the body of the letter.
