In the electrolysis of acidified water,dilute sulphuric acid is preffered to dilute nitric acid for acidification

dil.sulphuric acid is preffered beccause it radily forms ions while nitric acid do not forms ions readily,moreover dil.sulphuric acid is less volatile acid than compared to nitric acid........
