and

angle PEF + angle GEF = 180°------------- linear pair

85° + GEF = 180°

GEF = 180°- 85°

In quad EFHG ,

angle EFG + angle FHG + angle HGE + angle GEF = 360°

95° + 115° + X + Y = 360°

210° + X + Y =360° --------------- 1

X + Y = 360° - 210°

X+ Y = 150°

here,

angle HGE + angle GEF = 180° ----------- co linear angles

95 +X = 180°

X = 180 - 95

X = 85 °

therefore,

in quad EFHG

sum of all angles

85+115+95+Y = 360°

360° - 295= Y
