In the figure, j∥k and m∠1 = 63°.

What is the m∠4 ?

That are J || K.

Here , the value of Angle 1 is given and we have to find the value of Angle 4.

Solution :

We know that the sum of all the angles on a line is 180°.

Using this concept we can form an equation as follows :

Angle 1 + Angle 4 = 180° (Linear Pairs)

63° + Angle 4 = 180°

Angle 4 = 180° - 63° = 117°

The required value of Angle 4 is 117°.
