Given :   ABCD is a parallelogram  

Two opposite angles are

(3x - 50°)  and ( x + 40°)

To Find : Value of x

Solution:

ABCD is a parallelogram  

Parallelogram has opposite sides equal and parallel

opposite angles are equal

Adjacent angles are supplementary

(3x - 50°)  and ( x + 40°)  are opposite angles

Hence Equal

=> 3x - 50°  = x + 40°

=> 2x = 90°

=> x = 45°

value of x ​  is 45°
