here from a theorem that chords equidistant from the centre are equal => AB= CD
and if a perpendicular line drawn from the centre to a chord, it bisects the chord .
=> PB = 1/2* CD
=> PB = 1/2*6 => 3 cm
and if a perpendicular line drawn from the centre to a chord, it bisects the chord .
=> PB = 1/2* CD
=> PB = 1/2*6 => 3 cm
