In the given figure, BCEF and BCDF are parallelogram and trapezium respectively and ABC is a triangle on
the base BC. If there is a circular portion of radius 14 cm inside the ACED and a rectangular region of
dimensions 50 cm * 25 cm inside the parallelogram BCEF, then find the area of the shaded region.​

Step-by-step explanation:

area of ABC is 20×150×1/2 =1500

area OF BCEF IS 150*200 = 30000

area of CED is 1/2*200*60 = 6000

area of ABFDC = 37500

now area of rectangular region inside BCEF is 1250

and are of circle is π*14*14 = 616

area of circle +area of rectangular region= 1866

now substract it from total area 37500-1866 = 35634
