In the given figure,
L1 is parallel to L2 and L2 is parallel to L3.
AB is perpendicular to L1 and <CBF = 55 °.
Find x ,y and z.

Pls answer correctly with proper theorems.

Provided Data:-

  • l₁ || l₂ || l₃
  • AB ⊥ l₁
  • ∠CBF = 55°

To Fetch: The value of x, y and z.

z:-

Here,

AB ⊥ L₃ [∵ l₃ || l₁]

or, ∠ABF = 90°

From the diagram,

∠ABF = z + ∠CBF

➯ z + 55° = 90°

➯ z = 90° - 55°

➯ z = 35° ...(Value of z)

y:-

Also,

y = ∠MBN (corresponding angles)

or, y = 180° - ∠CBF

or, y = 180° - 55°

or, y = 125° ...(Value of y)

x:-

Here, BC is the transvesal passing through the parallel lines - l₁, l₂ and l₃.

So,

x = y (Corresponding angles)

or, x = 125° ...(Value of x)

  • z = 35°,
  • y = x = 125°.
