PSQ = SQR [ Alternate interior angles are equal ]

9y = 27

y = 27 ÷ 9

y = 3

PQS = RSQ [ Alternate interior angles are equal ]

8x = 32

x = 32 ÷ 8

x = 4

SO THE VALUES OF X AND Y ARE 4 AND 3
