Given QAL AB and PB LAB so,

2 QAO = PBO = 90°

In A AOQ and A BOP

(1)

Z QAO = < PBO (from equation 1) ZAOQ = 2 BOP.. (vertically opposite

angles)

So,

A AOQ is same as A BOP.. (by AA rule) Then we get:

→ OAAQ = OBBP

→ 20AQ = 1218

→ AQ = 20 × 1812

→ AQ = 5 x 183

→ AQ = 5 x 6 = 30 cm
