as in mountain when we go higher, the temperatute and pressure of air decreases and rain falls in the form of snow...therefore we experiences cold climate over higher altitides and hence tundra vegetatio grows there

The tundra is cold region,but the tropical forest is hot and humid. Tropical forests,receiving heavy rainfall  throughout the year.trees cannot grow on mountains in Tundra.

Explanation:

There are two types of tropical forest- tropical rainforests and tropical dry forests.Tropical rainforests gets lot of rainfall  where as the dry tropical area receive very little  rainfall resulting in dry climate,thorny grasses and bushes. are fond in dry region.
