The jocund company not only gave joy to the poet but also was a memory which would flash in front of his eyes whenever he was in a pensive mood.. This according to the poet gives bliss of solitude ur happiness in being alone

everytime he was in a vacant or pensive mood or was feeling sad and dejected, the daffodils would flash upon his inward eye and would bring him a blissful state of soltitude - he would be happy again. This shows that nature has the power to heal. His heart would fill with pleasure and dance with the daffodils
