The speaker compares her thought to a moth that fits and glitters her mind and is difficult to catch. She wishes that the moth would rest somewhere and that would enable her to catch a hold of the words that are wrapped around the moth and create a beautiful poetry with those words. According to her, if her thoughts were moths , they would be easier to catch.
