flower girls are seen in the bazaars of Hyderabad who weave garlands with blue and red threads. They fashion crowns to adorn the forehead of a bridegroom for the bridal bed. Flowers are used both at weddings and funerals. Life is a mixture of joy and grief. They also make large white sheets of fresh, newly gathered flowers. Those will be laid on the graves of the dead as if to soothe them in their eternal sleep. The flower girls sell what is needed for both happy and unhappy but emotional occasions
