Both the roads lay in the front of the poet almost in the same condition. He chose the second road and feel sorry about not choosing the first one. The poet wanted to experience both the situations. He was also not sure of the outcome of his choice. So, the poet wanted to travel by both the roads.

Because one road was grassy and untravelled. And poet likes adventure.
And second one was to go for easy.
Thats'why poet like to travel on both the roads
