In the rectangle ABCD, if the length of the diagonal AC is 6x-2 and the length of the
diagonal BD is 4x+2, then find x and the length of AC.

Answer:

Diagonal AC=BD

So, 6x-2 = 4x+2

Or, 6x-4x = 2+2

Or, 2x = 4

Or, x = 2

AC = 6*2-2 = 12-2

= 10
