Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

Principle = 3600

Amount = 4320

Rate = 4%

Time = ?

Amt = principle + Simple intrest

4320 = 3600 + So

Si = 4320 - 3600 = 720

Si = p × I × t

720 = 3600 × 4% × t

72000 = 14400t

T = 72000 ÷ 14400 = 5

T= 5 yrs

  • 5 years .

Given :-

  • Principal = Rs. 3600
  • Amount = Rs. 4320
  • Rate = 4% per annum at simple interest .

To Find :-

  • Time = ?

Formula used :- when rate is at simple interest per annum :-

  • Time = (Simple interest × 100) / (Principal × Rate)
  • Simple interest = Amount - Principal .

Solution :-

from given data we get,

→ Simple interest = Amount - Principal

→ SI = 4320 - 3600

→ SI = Rs. 720

now, we have,

→ P = Rs. 3600

→ R = 4%

→ SI = Rs. 720

So,

→ T = (SI × 100) / (P × R)

putting all values we get,

→ T = (720 × 100) / (3600 × 4)

→ T = 720/(36 × 4)

→ T = (36 × 20) / (36 × 4)

→ T = 20/4

→ T = 5 years (Ans.)

therefore, required time is equal to 5 years .
