They are the exactly the same kind of wave but with different wavelengths. Think of skinny ripples on water and fat ripples on water. The skinny one is visible light and the fat one is heat and instead of water these are ripples in the electromagnetic field. So treat them just like you would treat water ripples of different sizes. They’re the same but looks different in size.

Radiant heat is mostly in the infrared part of the electromagnetic spectrum. As you may know, there are other more skinnier or fatter electromagnetic waves.
