Wild parrots live in natural warm & tropical areas prevalent & predominant in Southern Hemisphere. Other regions of the world viz., such as northern Mexico, Australia, South America and Central America also have large populations of diverse species of parrots.

In countries of Polar regions like Iceland, Antarctica & Arctic Regions where temperatures are far below normal, parrots are not found as they cannot adapt and survive in cold places.
