Given points are (-4,-3).

Here,  x-coordinate is -4. It is negative.

Here, y-coordinate is -3. It is negative.

Since, both the coordinates are negative. Therefore It lies in the 3rd Quadrant.

The answer is option(C) - Third.

Hope it helps!

Answer:

(C) Third

Step-by-step explanation:

In which quadrant does the point (-4,-3) lie ? Choose the correct alternative answer for the given quesiton.

(A) First

(B) Second

(C) Third

(D) Fourth

in First Quadrant  -     x & y are +ve

in Second Quadrant  -     x is -ve  & y is +ve

in Third Quadrant  -     x & y both are -ve

in Fourth Quadrant  -     x is +ve  & y is -ve

Given point (-4,-3) has both x & y as -ve hence this point will lie in Third Quadrant

Hence option C - Third is correct
