Heart failure happens when the blood is not pumped effectively enough to meet the needs of the body (state of the heart). It is sometimes also called as congestive heart failure because congestion of the lungs will still remain one of the main symptoms of heart failure (this disease). Heart failure is not the same as cardiac arrest (the state of the heart when it completely stops beating) or a heart attack (state of the heart when it gets suddenly gets damaged by inadequate blood supply to the body parts and the heart itself causing the tissue to get destroyed or damaged).
The incidence of the heart attack is quite common in obese or highly overweight people, as the cholesterol content or low density cholesterol is found in high prevalence.
