Inclusive education offers a wide range of choices to all kinds of students. Students must be encouraged to take up courses they want to. Our education system should be based on the 'inclusion' of different disciplines, subjects or skills. 'Inclusive education' has become an inevitability in the modern age. The most important factors that affect 'inclusive education' are the attitudes of parents, teachers, classmates and the society. The parents' attitude has so far been very 'exclusive'. They can't think beyond medical, engineering or management studies. Humanities, fine arts, music, painting, physical education and crafts have been ignored in the course of studies. Those who frame curriculum for schools have to be open-minded, liberal and flexible in their approach. Curriculum and policy supports are necessary to make 'Inclusive education' a reality in our schools and educational institutions.
