Juvenile crime
When any anti-law or anti-social act is done by a child, it is called juvenile crime or child crime. From a legal point of view, child crime is an anti-legal act done by a child above 8 years of age and below 16 years of age, which is presented before the Children's Court for legal proceedings. According to the Juvenile Justice Act 1986 (Amended 2000) in India, the offense of boys up to 16 years of age and girls up to 18 years of age has been included in the category of juvenile delinquency. The maximum age limit for juvenile delinquency varies from state to state. On this basis, anti-legal work done by a child under the age limit set by any state is child crime.
Not only does age determine child crime, but the severity of crime is also an important aspect in it. No crime has been committed by a 7 to 16 year old boy and a girl aged 7 to 18 years, for which the state gives death penalty or life imprisonment such as murder, treason, fatal attack etc., then it will be considered as a child criminal.
