India experience tropical as well as temperate climate.

This is because the Tropic of Cancer passes through the middle of the country from the Rann of Kuchchh from our country.

The areas which are in south ie below tropic of cancer experience tropical climate and areas lying in north ie above tropic of cancer experience temperate climate.
