India does not follow any particular religion. India is not a country followimg any particular religion. Thus India is sovereign country. The principle of socialistic pattern directs social, economic and political equality for citizens as given in the preamble. india stands for abolishing all forms of exploitation as well as for securing equitable distribution of income, resources and wealth. Thus India is socialist. We are given certain rights according to the constitution like g
freedom of speech, etc. Thus India is republic country.

Secular- India is a secular country becoc here our constitution forbid state from promoting a particular religion like most of the theocratic countries like Pakistan and middle East but at the same time Indian state treat every religion on equal basis means no discrimination on basis of religion

Sovereign- it implies two things first internal sovereignty means freedom to formulate policies and govern state without any interference from outside , second is external sovereignty that is right to get treated itself on equal with other state in international arena

Socialist- added by 42nd amendment means that country believe in socialistic form of economy with adequate space to capitalism and it also mean that production to be based on socialistic pattern to benefit society at large

Democratic- as we all know we have an elected govt by the people directly that's what democracy stands for

Republic- it means that head of any country to one who is elected and not based on heredity like England it further means two more thing one, that the political sovereignty of any country lies with its own people ,second it means that all the political offices of the country to be open for all its citizen without any discrimination.
