suji99: but i have to give statement that it is true or false
DeeptiMohanty: now u just have to put the value of k in the given polynomial ....
DeeptiMohanty: if then the Value of x comes 1/2
DeeptiMohanty: then u can say yes it is true
suji99: ok
DeeptiMohanty: that 1/2 is a zero of the given polynomial

Hey mate :

Here is yr answer........

The only value of k for which quad. polynomial kx²+x+k has equal zeros is 1/2...?

Let us confirm!! //

=> kx² + x + k

k= 1/2

=> 1/2x² + x + 1/2

=> 1/2x² + 1/2x + 1/2x + 1/2

=> 1/2x(x+1) + 1/2(x+1)

=> (x+1)(1/2x+1/2)

x+1 = 0=> x = -1

1/2x+1/2 = 0 => x = -1

Therefore, the statement is true..

Hope it helps...
