Indian system of education saw no change under british. Why?

yeah.because the Indians were slaves under the British and British thought that if the get enough education they won't be slaves

In British education system there isn't any discrimination among people in society regarding caste, gender, colour, etc.,.

But in Indian education system the number of educated men are more than that of womens and the higher castes are generally educated whereas the lower ones are said to be illiterate.
