To insert two rational no. b/w 1/3&1/2first take the l.c.m of 2&3to make its denominator equal. So,
Lcm of 2&3=6
So,
1/3×2/2=2/6
1/2×3/3=3/6
Now mutipleing and dividing the no.by 2
(2+1=3)
2/6×3/3=6/12
3/6×3/3=9/12
So two rational numbers between 1/3&1/2are
7/12&8/12
