Debate is one of the academic activities that give students creative room to express what they feel. With the topic chosen for the year being ‘Development and Progress is Catacomb of Human Civilization’, __ speakers from __ schools in various parts of the state vied for honours. Some participants argued for the motion and some against the motion. The teams were well prepared and they used various skills like overstatement, definition, rhetoric, irony etc. to convince the audience.
