Interspecific relation between Rhizobium and leguminous plant is the example of mutualism.

Answer: Option (a)

Explanation:

‘Mutualism’ is also called as symbiosis. Symbiosis is a group of ‘organisms’ that live in the presence of each other and help each other for ‘survival’. Rhizobium is a group of bacteria present in the soil and infection root nodules. Rhizobium converts the nitrogen in the air into Ammonium.

This ammonium is used by the plants for their growth. On the other hand the bacteria gets shelter and protection in the ‘root nodules’ and also gets nutrients from the plants.
