Yesterday I had a little causal discussion with my university teacher. I wanted to enquire about teachers profession. I asked him how long has he been in this university and he replied that he has been with this institute for past 12 years. Teachers report to the Chairman of the department and all the chairmen report to the Vice Chancellor of University. Regarding job promotion, he told me that he has been promoted twice in his 12 years and is expecting one soon, their salaries are per government pay scale level. When they have any complaint in University, they call launch a complain to the chairman of department
