invention is a breast process through which we can utilise new things and importance of 0 is necessary because there is a proverb that necessity is the mother of invention if there is zero then we will be bound to make new things and to introduce new things

Zero was invented by Aryabhatta as asserted by the French mathematician Georges Ifrah.

1.It is very important for its place-holding value. You cannot write one hundred five in numerals without using 0 between 1 and 5.
2.It plays the role of an additive identity element i.e. when you add zero to any number, you get the same number that you started with.
3.Whenever zero is subtracted from a whole number, the difference will be the whole number, and whenever a whole number is subtracted from itself, the difference will be zero.
4.In the multiplication property of zero ,it does not matter in what order you do the operation to the whole number. A whole number multiplied by zero equals zero, and vice versa.
5.If zero is divided by a whole number, the quotient will be zero. Also, you can't divide a whole number by zero, because you can not come up with an inverse statement that makes sense. That is why mathematicians have a special term for x/0;in which "x" is a whole number. They call it infinity.
6.It is essential in measuring the body temperature as we can easily know that -ve numbers are present to left of it whereas +ve to the right of it which helps us in defining the temperature of a place.
7.The exponents in the order of 10 are interrelated to the occurrence or frequency of 0 in that number. So, you can easily determine the exponents by counting the number of 0s.

There are many other importance of 0 but these are the top ones.
