First case

speed = 20 km/hr

time = 15 min

1 min = 1 / 60 hr

15 min = 15 / 60 hr

           = 1 / 4 hr

speed = distance / time

==> distance = speed × time .

==> 20 km/hr × 1/4 hr

==> 5 km

Second case

speed = 60 km/hr

time = 15 min

       = 1/4 hr

distance = speed × time

              = 60 km/hr × 1/4 hr

              = 15 km

Total distance

Total distance = 15 km + 5 km

                        = 20 km

The total distance covered is 20 km
