Is 402 a term of the sequence : 8,13,18,23,.....?​

No as you see the unit places.
It is continuing 3 and 8.

hello mate!!

here,

a= 8

d= 5

now,

the general formula for finding the nth term is:

tn = a+(n-1) ×d

402 = 8+ ( n-1)×5

402 = 8+5n-5

402 = 3+5n.

402-3= 5n

399= 5n

399/5= n

therefore,

402 is a not a term of the sequence.
