yes it is added but to increase percentage only top 5 best 5 subjects are added

if u fail in maths then computer is added to increase percentage removing maths in case of your percentage only

but if fail in English and Hindi then compartment u have to give but u will have to give compartment if u fail in any subject because computer is for percentage not for passing

(PASSING 33OUT OF 100AND 27OUT OF 80 IS REQUIRED AND NECESSARY to get saved from compartment exam in each and every subject)

As, computer is an additional subject. It can replace a theory subject, in which our marks is not so good.
