Is habitat in Space possible?

The requirements for a space habitat are many. They would have to provide all the material needs for hundreds or thousands of humans, in an environment out in space that is very hostile to human life.

A proper human habitat requires certain features for an efficient living.Oxygen,food supplies, other necessary resources supply are the most important features for developing a proper human habitat.

But in the outer space none of these features are available naturally ,so we have to develop these features artificially which is not convenient for building a permanent human habitat in the outer space.
