Is it possible for a lens for converting in one medium and divergence in one medium

A convergent lens will act as a diverging lens if the lens is kept in a medium denser than the glass that it is made up of. This is because the relative refractive index will be less than 1 and the light ray will bend in the other direction than it would have done with air being the other medium.
