National Income is a flow concept. This is because it is measured over an interval of time.For example, income earned over the month of January. National income being a flow variable is very dynamic in nature as it keeps on changing from one period to another.It has a time element attached with it which helps in determining the appropriate duration, let's say 1 year or 6 months.
