YES DEAR FRIEND

I can't give an objective answer for this. It really depends on what sound you're looking for. Look at all the blues and jazz greats from BB King and Eric Clapton to Pat Metheny and Joe Pass. They've all used f-hole guitars for a lot of their careers. BB King even named his Gibson f-hole guitars Lucille. Needless to say, they were very precious to him. I've found f-holes to have a more mellow tone with some twangy high end. They seem to share some tonality with mandolins. I have a 20-year old f-hole guitar still lying around that I've had remodeled to a fretless acoustic.

Round hole guitars have more bass in them and find great use where you need a loud guitar. The greater width allows for more resonating volume. Classical and flamenco music employ this guitar a lot. I feel they have a more balanced tone over the range of frequencies. My Yamaha classical guitar is a round hole guitar.

Choose the tonality that suits your needs. If you're recording parts, you might even consider using both guitars on separate channels to have the best of both worlds.
