18^2 must ve equal to the sum of squares of 12 and 16 .
So, 18^2 = 324
and 12^2 = 144, 16^2 = 256
so the sum will be = 256+144 = 400
which is not equal to 324
so it is not a right triangle
Of course it is a triangle.
