IS THERE A SENSE OF UNDERSTANDING ''OSCILLATIONS ,GRAVITATION ,SHM etc., WITHOUT PRACTICING / UNDERSTANDING topics such as'' FRICTION ,ROTATIONAL MECHANICS?? .......................PLZZZZ.....Help me out answering this question in a reasonable way.........

Well mechanics is the basics of all .. the gravity at our level is Newtonian gravitational theory which works on the pure mechanics and other chapters do need mechanics .. to understand in a right way
